A New Leaf

I'm saying goodbye to my favorite roommate tomorrow afternoon. And although I am so sad to see her go, I must see this new chapter (in both of our lives) as an adventure! We've shared the best times together, and I will always love this part of my life because I have been so lucky to get to know and become best friends with such a wonderful young lady!

As sad as it is to see my best friend leave, I will always be so grateful that our paths have crossed for as long as they have. I have learned so much and experienced such happiness! Our paths are bound to cross again, and until they do, we will be living our own adventures. Livin' life; breathin' air.

Went to Chicago this weekend and had my eyes opened to the world! I'm still trying to figure out when I closed myself off to the beautiful things around me. Every day is an adventure, and there is so much out there, waiting for us to take in! I'm not quite sure what made me realize that I needed a change- perhaps finishing The Giver gave me the courage to seize the day, and make things right in the world; perhaps it was being immersed into a new, and potentially dangerous city, given no other option but to figure it out. Perhaps it was the people I was around, the things we were doing, and the stories that were shared, that encouraged me to let my barricade down. Either way, I've realized that we all must live with adventure in mind, otherwise we will regret what we did not do, because we were too scared to do it. Life is not something to miss out on, it's something we must participate in!

Now look at me, up to see the sunrise, bloggin and stuffs.

The season of Halloweenie

Fall time in the air! I smell it! I need a jacket! I want to wear cozy scarves and hide in knit socks! I want to drink coffee all the time. I literally would like to be constantly drinking coffee. I want coffee all day. I want coffee every day. All the time! Coffee. Am I right? coffeecoffeecoffee!

Listen to this wonderful music and imagine the smells of fall! The colors, the changing seasons, the falling leaves, the cold, brisk air. It's refreshing (and it may induce self-revelations)-- just listen, relax, and enjoy the peaceful sound!

Anywho, I have been celebrating this weekend at Michigan State University, and exploring the wonders of adventure! (This includes wearing *cough* Michigan State *cough* apparel)

I love seeing my best good pals! We celebrated the holiday of Halloweenie here! Yesterday, Mart and I went as Simon and Garfunkel- wigs and all. We spent the whole night singing up and down the streets of MSU! God, I love Paul Simon (Mart). Here's a picture of our doppleganger  experience:

All in all, it has been a pretty bright weekend, and it continues on! I am so relieved to be done with midterms! Now I'll relax for a second and hop back on the study train! Still glad to have a moment to breathe! One more song to live up these next few days:

First time's a charm

In the midst of procrastinating my much needed studying for my two exams this week, I've decided to commit myself to a new Blogger way of life! Just what I need! HUZZAH! To illustrate my excitement:
